Walking the Romans Road

Also referred to as Salvation's Freeway, what many call the Roman's Road is a tool used by many people when they witness to others. You may not think of yourself as an evangelist, but if you are saved, then you are called to share your Salvation experience (called your testimony) with others. Knowing these critical verses can help you lead someone else to a saving decision  for Jesus Christ to become their Lord and Savior as well.

The best thing to do is memorize the following verses. I'd recommend writing them down on memo cards and going over them frequently until you are able to recite them with out reading. I've seen other versions of The Romans Road literally packed with verses out of the Book of Romans, but I think this defeats the original purpose, which is to have an easy system of verses to share when witnessing to someone. For this reason I've posted 5 verses, but these are all key.

The Roman's Road goes as follows:

Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.”

Romans 5:8
“But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 10:9-10
“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:13
“For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
