A Time to Be Still

I began writing this Blog in August and have taken on a variety of subjects - some even controversial. I had a few minutes free this morning to blog once again, but had a writer's block of sorts. I've got hundreds of topics and I could blog for days and weeks, but I like to allow the Holy Spirit to lead me as I do this.

As I pondered on what to write about and looked through my thumb drive full of notes, a verse kept coming to my mind. ...be still and know that I am God...

This verse in it's entirety is found in Psalm 46:10 where it say's,
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Yes, there is a time to pray, a time to read God's word, a time to sing His praises, and in my case a time to blog, but thankfully He wants us to meditate on who He is. Maybe today's blog, instead of being a deep theological subject, can aid in drawing us closer to Him and basking in His presence. I've found that music helps me to do this and maybe it helps you too, so I've included a few anointed songs. God bless you today as you seek Him!
