Since it got started I've really wanted to give this Blog a life of it's own, and to get my name and mug more in the background where it should be.
Today it all just seemed to come together finally and I couldn't be happier with it.
I will continue to seek God and read His word as I blog and provide the same content as always. I believe with all my heart that God's word (whether logos or rhema), has the answer to every question in life.
God hasn't left us on our own. He has given us His word, the Holy Bible. Better than this - He gave us His one and only Son Jesus Christ! In fact, John 1:1 tells us:
So Jesus IS the WORD! My blogging has been dedicated to the Word of God for good reason. What better word is there? God's word changes lives, and my own word is nothing compared to His! I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on some of the blogs I've posted, but also on the Daily Bible Quiz page, and other places on this blog.
My reasoning for the name change is also simple. I believe that John the Baptist said it best when he said, "I must decrease and He (Jesus) must increase." Wouldn't every ministry be better off if they practiced this concept? The bible tells us that when He is lifted up He will draw men unto Him. In other words - People get saved, healed, and delivered!
I hope this blog continues to bless and more and more people visit it. When they do I hope I have lifted up Jesus and not myself.
God Bless!
